Danarium:
combining the best of two worlds

Sauna meets steam bath

If the Finnish sauna feels too intense for you and the steam and humidity of a steam room are a bit overwhelming, then the Danarium could be the perfect solution. This unique warm-air bath offers a gentle, soothing experience with its mild warmth and slightly elevated humidity.

What is a Danarium?

The Danarium provides, similar to the bio sauna, a soothing atmosphere by blending mild heat (ranging from 40 to 60°C) with a higher humidity level of about 60%. Unlike traditional saunas, it features seating and wall surfaces made of mosaic tiles or stone instead of wood. Many people appreciate the addition of aromatherapy, where essential oils and herbal scents are misted into the warm, humid air. The Danarium also often incorporates light therapy, with the room bathed in various colours to positively influence your mood. This makes the Danarium an excellent choice for those who are sensitive to high temperatures and humidity or simply prefer a milder experience.

What are the benefits of the Danarium?

The Danarium offers a variety of beneficial effects, ranging from stress relief and muscle relaxation to skin care – all while being gentle on the heart. With a blissful temperature of max. 60°C, it provides the same advantages as a traditional sauna. The heat helps raise your body temperature, activating immune cells and boosting your immune system. Plus, a visit to the Danarium improves circulation by widening your blood vessels, which then tighten back up in cooler air. This “vascular workout” enhances blood flow, revs up your metabolism, and supports your body’s natural detox processes. It also works wonders for your skin by opening up pores and helping to remove dead skin cells through sweating. The humid air also soothes and cleanses your respiratory system. And if you’re dealing with tight muscles or joint pain, spending time in the Danarium can help relax muscles and ease discomfort.
